The Plant

The ISTRA CEMENT plant in Pula, Croatia began production of alumina cements in 1926. Today, it is the second largest manufacturer of alumina cements worldwide that use the melting method.

The satisfaction of our customers is our top priority. To facilitate this and offer our customers a service that satisfies the special requirements of local markets, we have three sales locations throughout the world.

Quality Control

Quality assurance and product development Based on customer requirements, we coordinate and combine our research and development work at our plant in Pula, Croatia, at our Tech Center in Mannheim and at independent laboratories and universities.
