    Resistant To Sewage – Extreme Abrasion Resistance

    Corrosion caused by aggressive fluids such as sewage or industrial waste presents a problem in many countries. Ever more highly concentrated sewage demands more chemically resistant construction material.

    Calcium Aluminate Cements (CAC) are ideal for these extreme conditions.

    Because they contain neither free lime nor other sulfate-sensitive components, they are particularly well-suited for long-term solutions. CACs have been tried and tested in sewers and sewage treatment plants for many decades. Their typical properties include extreme abrasion resistance and high resistance to sewage and biogenic sulfur acid corrosion, making them the ideal raw material.

    Stable Under Chemical, Mechanical Or Thermal Loads 

    In aggressive environments in which Portland cement-based concrete is unsuitable, ISTRA 40 AGG is highly recommended as an aggregate. In combination with calcium aluminate cements, ISTRA 40 AGG delivers outstanding results with regard to wear resistance as well as resistance to thermal shock, chemical stress, high temperatures and mechanical loads.
